- 6 part-skim mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 pound prepared pizza dough
- ¼ cup butter melted
- ⅓ cup finely grated Parmesan
- Marinara sauce for serving
Prepare the cheese: Cut each string cheese stick into 4 equal pieces (24 total). Lightly coat with cornstarch to prevent melting out.
Wrap with dough: Roll out pizza dough and cut into 24 small squares. Place a cheese piece in the center of each square and pinch edges tightly to seal.
Arrange on baking sheet: Place the sealed cheese bites seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush and top: Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve: Enjoy warm with marinara sauce for dipping!

Be sure to pinch the dough tightly so cheese doesn’t leak out.
-
You can add garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the butter for extra flavor.
-
These are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
