Ingredients

  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry dough thawed
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Prepare the pastry: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Thaw puff pastry sheets according to package instructions.
  • Spread the Nutella: Place one puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spread an even layer of Nutella over the surface.
  • Roll and slice: Roll the pastry sheet tightly into a log. Slice into 6 equal rolls. Repeat with the second pastry sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash: Place the rolls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  • Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  • Finish: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle chopped hazelnuts or mini chocolate chips inside before rolling.
  • These rolls are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated in the oven the next day.
